Peer: a person who is equal to another in abilities, qualifications, etc.

Peer to Peer is a training program that begins with one person, but eventually affects hundreds.

Each year, Beth Holt, our Peer to Peer Coordinator, along with the Arc of Harrison County and the Arc of Gregg County, select ten people with disabilities who have been trained through our program, to train at least 50 people to become more independent and self-sufficient within their daily lives. The Peer To Peer Project is a 3-year program and the project plans to train over 150 people. Learn more!.
